Climathon
Climathon is one of the initiatives of the EIT Climate-KIC, which is supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The goal of the Climathon is to strengthen the efforts of cities and citizens to tackle climate change. Climathon has managed to unite more than 145 major cities on all 6 continents, supporting innovative actions within the urban environment.
Climathon invites citizens of all ages, pupils and students, scientists, experts and non-experts, people of local government to join their knowledge and enthusiasm for 24 hours.
