Youth Solutions Report 2017

SDSN Youth announces the launch of the Youth Solutions Report, a first step in the mission to demonstrate the incredible innovation and creativity of young people who are leading in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Report features over 50 youth led projects that address crucial sustainable development issues including: clean energy, education, digitalization, e-participation, access to healthcare, ecosystem restoration, sustainable agriculture, and waste.

Through this Report, SDSN Youth aims to provide a platform that celebrates the achievements of young innovators, while also addressing the challenges they face such as reduced visibility, limited access to funding, and lack of sufficient advice or technical support.

Youth Solutions Report

Young people under the age of 30 account for almost half of the world’s population, so harnessing their contribution to the 17 SDGs is critical for the success of the 2030 Agenda. However, when talking about the role they play in achieving this ambitious agenda, their potential to make an impact is often overlooked. Young people are not here to simply play a supporting role.

We hope that the Youth Solutions Report can become an avenue for young innovators to capture attention for their endeavors, attract valuable support, and inspire youth around the world to work towards the SDGs.

Whether you are a policymaker, impact investor, philanthropist or young individual yourself, we welcome you to participate in this exciting movement by not only learning about these projects but through your active support of them.
