A “BlueBRIDGE: Cloud infrastructure serving aquafarms and supporting models” H2020 Project workshop on “Performance evaluation, benchmarking and decision making in aquaculture, Strategic Investment Analysis and Scientific Planning/Alerting – relevant VREs” took place on 7 December 2016, @ ATHENA RIC.
The programme included:
a. Introduction to Bluebridge & VREs, presented by Eleni Petra (NKUA, ATHENA RIC)
b. Performance evaluation, benchmarking and decision making in aquaculture VRE, presented by Gerassimos Antzoulatos (ι2S)
c. Strategic Investment analysis and Scientific Planning/Alerting VRE, presented by Haralambos Dimitrakopoulos (CITE),
d. Social and environmental monetization models for Blue Economy, presented by Stella Tsani (ICRE8)
The participants gained insights on the project’s work and outcomes. During the workshop the two BlueBRIDGE virtual research environments (VREs) on Performance evaluation, benchmarking and decision making in aquaculture and Strategic Investment Analysis and Scientific Planning/Alerting were showcased together with the relevant techno-economic and socioenvironmental models.
The presentation was followed by a practical usage of the aquaculture lab.
