European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Future Dahlem Workshop

On March 6th and 7th, the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Future Dahlem Workshop titled “Accelerating Open Science in EOSC: Collaborative Interfaces between Scientific Domains and Disciplines” took place in Barcelona, aimed to foster collaboration among EOSC Future Science Projects, Science Clusters, and Research Infrastructures.

During her keynote speech, Prof. Koundouri focused on sustainability science, emphasizing the development and application of innovative, human-centric interdisciplinary systems for sustainable interactions between nature, society, and the economy. She also addressed major challenges and solutions in the Eco-economy Domain. The event included break-out groups discussing scientific challenges, data- driven solutions, and interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities through EOSC. Additionally, she presented the SDSN Global Climate Hub, highlighting its inaugural unit focusing on data platforms and digital applications.
