Yannis Souliotis, ICRE8 (www.icre8.eu) researcher, introduced the work of WP9 (Socioeconomics) to stakeholders of the Evrotas GLOBAQUA case study. The meeting took place at the “Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil” in Sparta. Globaqua (http://www.globaqua-project.eu/) assesses the effects of water scarcity on aquatic ecosystems by focusing on six river basins (Ebro, Adige, Sava, Evrotas, Anglian and Souss Massa). These basins encompass a rich set of socio-ecological conditions and a wide geographic coverage, and focus on a specific set of stressors to illustrate different management scenarios.
