Position: Ph.D. in Natural Resource Economics | Ph.D.cand. in Endogenous Regional Development

George Ekonomou earned a Ph.D. from the Department of Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment, University of Thessaly, Greece, focused on natural resource economics and coastal tourism development. He studied Agricultural Technologist at the International Hellenic University (Greece). He also holds a Master’s degree in Investments and Regional Development from the Department of Planning and Regional Development at the University of Thessaly and a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Seattle, USA. He has participated in International Scientific Congresses and has published his research work in well-acknowledged scientific Journals. His research interests include but are not limited to natural resource economics, tourism economics, tourism development, and marketing.
