Dr. Mary Tziva is a senior researcher at Athena Research Center, with a PhD in Innovation Science from the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University. She also holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Development Science and Policy from Maastricht University and a bachelor’s degree in communication and business. Dr. Tziva’s research interests lie in the areas of innovation, socio-technical transitions, deep decarbonization, and sustainable food systems. She has actively contributed to several EU-funded projects and has taught Innovation Science courses at both the BSc and MSc level.
