Dr. Theofanis Zacharatos is a researcher at the Sustainable Development Unit of the ΑΤΗΕΝΑ Research Center, focusing on bridging science, policy, and innovation to promote sustainable development. His expertise lies in Consumer Behaviour, particularly in food waste, sustainable consumption, and development.
Dr. Zacharatos holds an MBA in Food Business Management, an MSc in Finance, and a PhD from the University of Patras. He collaborates with academic institutions, policy networks, and innovation hubs to advance research aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Agreement, and the European Green Deal.
He is also a member of the Greek Marketing Academy and in 2019 he received a scholarship from EIT Climate-KIC. His work includes participating in international conferences and publishing in scientific journals, contributing significantly to the discourse on sustainability.
