Barbara Zanuttigh is Associate Professor of Hydraulics at the University of Bologna since 2014. She holds a PhD in Hydraulic Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan and more than 20-years post-doctoral experience in the field of coastal structures and marine renewables.
She has carried out the research in cooperation with many Universities and Research Institutes, developing good team-working skills and a strong enthusiasm for interdisciplinary topics, specifically for the new research frontiers of marine renewable energy, including multi-use offf-shore platforms, and coastal flood defence strategies such as eco-friendly and cost-effective measures, including both technological and non-technological solutions.
Author of more than 150 papers, h-index: 30 (scopus).
