SDSN Greece at the Delphi Economic Forum III: New Globalization And Growth Challenges

SDSN Greece co-chair, Prof. Andreas Papandreou participated at the Delphi Economic Forum III: New Globalization And Growth Challenges. SDSN Greece was the programming partner of session 18, with the title: “CURBING CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINING ECONOMIC GROWTH. Is it possible to curb global warming while advancing economic growth?” chaired by Sofia Giannaka (Editor, iefimerida).

Prof. Andreas Papandreou delivered the opening remarks, together with Beboarimisa Ralava (Minister of Transport and Meteorology, Republic of Madagascar), Maria Damanakis (EU Commissioner for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, 2010-2014) and Fabien Cousteau (Founder & Executive President, The Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center, USA). Costa J. Carras (Co-Founder, Elliniki Etairia – Society for the Environment & Cultural Heritage, Greece), Emmanuella Doussis (Associate Professor of International Institutions, University of Athens, Greece) and John D. Saracakis (Chairman, Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Greece) also spoke at the session.
