Dr. Paolo Mammola is currently working at the Italian Ministry of University and Research at the National RRF Task Force. In addition, he teaches Roman Law at the LUISS ‘Guido Carli” University of Rome, and previously he was teaching Commercial Law at the University of Naples. He also participates the SDSN Senior Working Group as an Expert in Corporate Governance from a legal point of view.

Durk Krol is Director of the WssTP. He joined the WssTP in 2008, first as a Board Member and Treasurer. He has worked in the water sector at the European level for the last 8 years, initially as a Senior Legal Policy Officer for the water department of provincial government of Friesland (NL). As Deputy Secretary General of the European federation of national water associations of water suppliers and waste water services (EUREAU), he was actively promoting the common interests of the European water service sector to the EU institutions and stakeholders which enabled its members to adequately deal with opportunities arising from EU policy and its national implementation. He has also closely been involved in the creation of the EP Water Group in the European Parliament.

She is a featured Keynote Speaker in sustainability, renewable energy and women’s empowerment, serving as Honorary Ambassador in the US for an international women’s organization, Creative Women Platform.

Dr Emmanouil (Manolis) Tyllianakis is an environmental economist, currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI) at the University of Leeds. His work focuses on understanding the socio-economic impact of land/water management decisions and moves along these two research lines: 1) Understanding how human behaviour impacts water ecosystems and human welfare in return and 2) Capturing the implications of climate change and over-exploitation of resources in economic terms and how this can be linked to perceptions.
He has worked previously for the Defra’s Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas) in the UK. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Economics from the University of Patras, an MSc in Environmental Economics from the University of Manchester, and BSc in Economics from the University of Patras and his work on various H2020, FP7, Defra and World Bank projects has been published in journals such as Tourism Management, Water Research, Journal of Environmental Management and Nature Communications.

Céline Nauges is research director at the French Institute for Research in Agriculture and Environment (INRAE) and member of the TSE Environmental Economics and Natural Resources thematic group. Her main research interests are in agricultural and environmental economics. Her research, which is mainly applied, has focused on supply and demand management of drinking water in developed and developing countries, risk management in agriculture, and the analysis of agricultural policies and their impact on the environment. Céline Nauges has published a number of scientific articles on these topics and she is also serving regularly as an expert for international institutions such as the OECD or the World Bank.

He is Dr. in Civil Engineering, head of the Offshore Engineering and Marine Energies research group at the Environmental Hydraulics Institute of the Universidad de Cantabria. He has developed an intense research career, as well as promoted and facilitated the transfer of knowledge and technology through the development of public-private partnership projects in the fields of offshore engineering and renewable energies in the marine environment. His research activity combines basic and applied research. With more than 55 publications, of which 25 are in Q1 journals, he has participated in numerous first level congresses such as OMAE. He has directed and/or participated in 7 European projects, as well as in 20 national projects of the RETOS or INNPACTO type. He has also participated and/or directed more than 30 technology transfer projects for companies and national and international administrations.
