The Pact for Skills is a flagship initiative of the European Skills Agenda, launched by the European Commission to support upskilling and reskilling across Europe.
The initiative brings together organisations from the public and private sectors — including companies, research institutions, governments, training providers, social partners, public authorities, and civil society — to strengthen lifelong learning, anticipate future skills needs, and bridge skills gaps.
Through the Pact, members commit to promoting quality training, equal opportunities, and stronger partnerships that support people of working age in adapting to Europe’s green and digital transitions.
The Sustainable Development Unit – SDU.AE4RIA of the Athena Research Center, is a member of the Pact for Skills. Through this participation, SDU.AE4RIA strengthens its commitment to sustainability education, skills development, innovation, and capacity building in support of the green, digital, and inclusive transition.
