“The COVID- 19 pandemic, the ensuing economic downturn and the climate crisis, are the current major global crises, with the latter having potentially more devastating and irreversible consequences than the former.
The European Green Agreement (December 2019) is the EU’s new development strategy and is developed in four areas: climate neutrality by 2050, protection of Ηuman Ηealth and the Εnvironment, Europe’s lead in green technology and a fair transition.
In this context, significant investments are required in Greece, concerning energy transformation and efficiency in the use of natural resources, which will create a significant number of new jobs.”
