On August 26–29, 2025, Prof. Ruslana Rachel Palatnik, Senior Researcher at AE4RIA – Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Αephoria, attended the XVIII EAAE Congress in Bonn, Germany, focused on Food System Transformation in Challenging Times.
Prof. Palatnik contributed to the special session on Environmental Challenges in AgriFood Systems, which aimed to strengthen the emerging collaboration between the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) and the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE).
Her presentation, titled “Evolution of Innovation and Production Supply Chains: The Case of Microalgae-Based β-Carotene”, was based on her recently published research, highlighting innovative approaches to sustainable food production.
