From January 21-23, the AE4RIA team had the pleasure of hosting Jacqueline Corbelli, Founder & CEO of BrightLine and Founder of the US Coalition On Sustainability and SustainChain™, at the Athens University of Economics and Business. These two days were filled with engaging discussions, brainstorming, and collaboration, all focused on advancing sustainability and innovation.
During these meetings, we showcased our ongoing projects and initiatives, including our work on the SDSN Global Climate Hub, the culmination of AE4RIA’s cross-disciplinary efforts.
Prof. Phoebe Koundouri, as chair of the CGH, provided an overview of the hub’s mission and highlighted how it leverages science-based solutions for a holistic and equitable transition toward a more resilient, climate-neutral world. Additionally, our team shared the hub’s work across various sectors, such as energy, land use, marine environments, health, and economic models. We also presented the SDSN Global Climate Hub Platform, designed to collect data, models, outputs, recommendations, and tools to support the global transition toward climate neutrality and resilience. The platform will be launching soon!
Jacqueline also introduced the SustainChain™ platform, a powerful machine-learning and digital technology platform that connects innovators, purpose-driven organizations, impact investors, and NGOs working together to rebuild global supply chains for a sustainable and equitable world. AE4RIA is proud to be a member of SustainChain™ and is actively collaborating with this innovative platform to drive systemic change.
We are more excited than ever about the collaborative potential of these networks and look forward to continuing to work with partners like SustainChain™ to accelerate global sustainability efforts.
