From 5th to 8th December 2019, SDSN Greece and EIT Climate-KIC Hub Greece joined Axion Hellas mission at Meganisi, co-organizing together with Goulandris Natural History Museum 
and WWF Greece an educational workshop on the environment and the oceans for young people. The educational program made explicit in its educational process that Outstanding Universal Value of cultural and natural heritage found in the Aegean and educated local population on how it can be protected from climate change and other impacts; with all elements of this effort embedded in the islands’ socio-economic sustainability transition. Prof. Apostolaki, DEREE, and Lydia Papadaki represented SDSN Greece and EIT Climate-KIC Hub Greece.
