On June 21st and 22nd 2019, a conference on “climate change impacts on cultural heritage: Facing the challenge”, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with UNESCO and WMO, was hosted by Zappeion Megaron and attended by a significant audience. The main focus of the conference was to result in a framework of viable solutions, including the use of new technologies and concrete actions on how to monitor and protect the world’s cultural and natural heritage as well as strengthen its resilience.
