European Research Council (ERC) Synergy Grant Meeting – WaterFutures Project at KWR Water Research Institute

On October 17-18, the ERC Water Futures team, led by Professor Phoebe Koundouri, gathered to deepen discussions on the future of urban drinking water systems. This interdisciplinary team merges expertise across water science, systems and control theory, economics, decision science, and machine learning.

  • University of Cyprus (KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence), led by Principal Investigator Professor Marios Polycarpou.
  • KWR Water Research Institute and the University of Exeter, with Principal Investigator Professor Dragan Savic FREng.

Special thanks were extended to Professor John List from the University of Chicago for his inspiring talk on “The Economics of Scaling”, which brought valuable insights to the conversation.
