Eirini Afentouli is a is a Junior Researcher at the AE4RIA research network, affiliated with the Sustainable Development Unit of ATHENA RC. She graduated from the Hellenic American Education Foundation-Athens College. She holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research paper focuses on the response of Hellenic Cities to Climate Change Impacts through Urban Planning & Design Framework and Green & Blue Infrastructure. Her dissertation thesis focuses on the Revitalization of a prior industrial area by implementing sustainable design principles. Her research interests are centred around urban regeneration, sustainable communities and neighbourhoods and sustainable buildings.
