Ioulia Kontopoulou is a Researcher at the AE4RIA Sustainable Development Unit of the Athena Research Centre and a Scientific Associate at the ReSEES Lab of the Athens University of Economics and Business. She holds an MSc in Disaster Management and Global Health from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Medicine, an MBA in Health Administration from CNAM, an MA in Strategic Communication and Public Relations, and a Diploma in Existential Coaching. At a clinical level, she holds a DDS in Dentistry and postgraduate diplomas in Stomatology, in Maxillofacial Surgery. She is also a former Associate at the Pediatric Hospital of Penteli, with an extensive experience in both the private and the public health sector. She also maintains a strong interest in the philosophical and ethical dimensions of medical and technological practice. Her work focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare systems, the development of human-centred and ethically aligned research methodologies, and the advancement of sustainability-oriented scientific projects.
