Nikos Stasinopoulos is a Senior Researcher at AE4RIA Sustainability Development Unit of Athena Research Centre and Scientific Associate at ReSEES Lab of Athens University of Economics and Business. Nikos earned a BA on Governance & Public Administration with a Major on Media & Communications from the Law School of the University of Athens, a Professional Postgraduate Diploma on E-learning & blended learning instructional design awarded from the University of Patras, and attended postgraduate semester on Sociology in Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen before he embarked on a doctorate on Political Communication, receiving a summa cum laude degree on psychoanalytic oriented political theory & Social Simulation and Simulacra. He has been part of the GenAI Foresight Research and Recommendations Report to the Greek Presidency and other Foresight, also developing Research and Reports on behalf o the National Centre for Social Research, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior, Athena Research Centre and Demokritos Research Centre and numerous Public Universities. Having been granted circa fifteen post-doctoral research positions (Erasmus, Horizon and other frameworks) on the thematic areas of chatbot applications and deliberative democracy, skills predicting in EU, digital transition and green transformation, social communications and Media, big data research on claims and protest event analysis, risk communication and trust, Grievance Politics & Climate Change. Since 2002 he has also been appointed as an Adjunct Lecturer on Political Communication, Crisis and Risk Communication Courses on Postgraduate and Undergraduate level at numerous Public Universities and Private Institutions, having registered circa 7.500 lecturing hours. His academic track record includes scientific publications, national and international Conference participations, two academic books, and book chapters. Registered as Certified Evaluator of the Hellenic General Secretariat for Research & Technology ΕΥΔΕ-ΕΤΑΚ (Γ.Γ.Ε.Τ), Certified Instructor and Registered Assessor of Non-Formal Adult Education (E.O.Π.Π.Ε.Π.), Registered Instructor for Account for Employment and Vocational Training Programs (ΛΑΕΚ), registered Educational Consultant of Institute of Educational Policy (Ι.Ε.Π.), Certified Instructor and Adult Trainer of National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (ΕΟΠΠΕΠ). Professionally, he has been employed as an e-learning consultant, eLearning business and partnerships development across industries within Europe,EU programs writer and consortia developer, Educational IVT & LLL Academic Director, Business Stakeholders Management Careers Office Manager, Human Resources Manager, Political Communications Consultant, Consumer and Political Research Analyst, Advertising Copywriter, inhouse Publishing House editor.
