Education is at the heart of these themes to inspire and empower the next generation of climate leaders. EIT Climate-
KIC runs programmes for students, start-ups and innovators across Europe via centres in major cities, convening a community of the best people and organisations. The Greek EIT Climate-KIC Hub has been officially active since May 25, 2018, and iscomposed by a consortium of various organisations across the knowledge triangle: “Αthena”Research & Innovation Center (www.athena-innovation.gr), the Academy of Athens -Research Centre for Atmospheric Physics and Climatology (www.academyofathens.gr), Uni.fund (uni.fund), European Regional Framework for Co-operation (www.erfc.gr), UN SDSN Greece (www.unsdsn.gr), IOBE (www.iobe.gr) and Eunice Energy Group (www.eunicegroup.com). The long-term impact will be to prevent catastrophic climate change implications through innovative climate-smart solutions.
