On the first day of Our Ocean Greece 2024 Conference, Monday 15th April, Prof. Koundouri had the honor to address the Youth Leadership Summit. The panel discussion focused on the Role of Universities in fostering Multi-disciplinary Knowledge for Ocean Sustainability, and on the studies outside of ocean science that are crucial for understanding and managing ocean-related challenges like governance, market dynamics, employment, and other critical issues. One of the highlights of the panel was the insightful speech by John Kerry, the United States Secretary of State and former US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate.
