On Thursday, July 4th, Dr. Conrad Landis presented the work of the Sustainable Development Unit – ATHENA RC, led by Prof. Dr. Phoebe Koundouri, to Deputy Minister of Development Zoe Rapti. Dr. Landis highlighted the unit’s focus on applied research in climate change mitigation and adaptation.
He emphasized the importance of practical solutions to address environmental challenges.
Additionally, Dr. Landis discussed the unit’s active role in the AE4RIA – Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Αephoria Network, which facilitates outreach and collaboration with other organizations dedicated to sustainable development.
Deputy Minister Rapti expressed strong support for the unit’s initiatives, recognizing our vital contributions to Greece’s environmental strategy and sustainable future.
