SDSN Greece co-chair, Prof. Phoebe Koundouri (ICRE8, AUEB, ATHENA RC, LSE), chaired the session “Mitigation & Adaptation: New Initiatives” at the International Conference “Climate Change in the Mediterranean and the Middle East: Challenges and Solutions” that took place in Nicosia, Cyprus on 18th and 19th of May 2018. She was also a member of the Scientific Program Committee to the conference which was organised by the Cyprus Institute. The President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades and the Director of SDSN Global, Professor Jeffrey Sachs gave speeches at the conference dinner, which took place at the Cyprus Presidential Palace.
