Retaste Conference – FABLE Calculator

Dr. Konstantinos Dellis, Post-Doctoral Researcher for the AE4RIA, was thrilled to participate in the Retaste Conference, where he presented the work of the AE4RIA network on the environmental benefits of adopting Mediterranean diets. Using the powerful FABLE Calculator, Dr. Dellis highlighted the potential for a significant reduction in Greek agricultural greenhouse gas emissions. Shifting to a Mediterranean diet could reduce emissions by 25–35% by 2050 compared to 2020 levels, and by 45–55% when contrasted with a business-as-usual scenario. He found it inspiring to engage with professionals similarly dedicated to advancing sustainable food systems and climate action.
