In addressing the current pandemic and its devastating impact on people’s lives, the Sustainable Development Goals provide a blueprint for bold decisions that can put healthy lives, healthy societies and a healthy planet at the core of the road to recovery.
Within this context, the SDG Action community is called to contribute – through the SDG Action Awards – tried and tested solutions and approaches with the potential to go to scale and to be replicated elsewhere, making them available to leaders and partners around the globe.
These leading examples can help keep the SDGs front and center in the discussions taking place at all levels on the road to recovery, whilst harnessing the momentum of solidarity in fighting COVID-19. Novel ideas are arising daily to mobilise, inspire and connect communities, so whether your initiative is a pre-COVID example of best practice or in response to the global health crisis, share your story through the application process, demonstrate the impact and let us celebrate the incredible achievements towards a more sustainable and inclusive future for all.
