On February 2nd, Prof. Phoebe Koundouri had the honor of delivering the keynote speech at the Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur’s International Seminar, titled “Unknown Aspects of the Freedom Struggle; Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Management in the Indian Knowledge System.”
During her address, Prof. Phoebe Koundouri highlighted the significant work being done at the SDSN Global Climate Hub, an initiative she is privileged to chair. As part of AE4RIA – the Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Aephoria, the Global Climate Hub plays a key role in developing national and regional strategies aimed at achieving climate neutrality and resilience. These strategies are a comprehensive blend of policy, technology, and financial tools, all underpinned by climate data and systems modeling.
The Hub’s innovative approach is powered by an AI-driven platform, which serves as a catalyst for accelerating innovation. Additionally, it features a dedicated training hub designed to build the capabilities of stakeholders and drive climate action at various governance levels.
