AE4RIA Welcomed as Official Member of ENoLL (European Network of Living Labs) at OLLD25

A proud milestone for AE4RIA as it joins the global Living Lab community at OLLD25 in Andorra.

From 30 September to 3 October 2025, AE4RIA participated in the OpenLivingLab Days (OLLD25) — the flagship event of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) — held this year in Andorra la Vella. Representing AE4RIA, Voula Samara had the honour of officially presenting ISSIDA Living Lab (Innovative Systems for Sustainable Development & Action) as one of the 25 new members joining the ENoLL network.

During the Welcome Ceremony on October 1st, Voula Samara introduced ISSIDA and received the official ENoLL membership certificate, marking a significant step in AE4RIA’s mission to co-create innovative, place-based solutions for sustainable development. Being welcomed into ENoLL’s vibrant international ecosystem affirms ISSIDA’s commitment to open innovation and its role in bridging science, policy, and community action.

This year’s OLLD theme, “Living Labs for Regenerative Futures: Connecting Local and Global Innovation Ecosystems,” resonated strongly with ISSIDA’s vision. The conference transformed the entire country of Andorra into a living lab — an experimental ground for testing, learning, and regenerating social, ecological, and technological systems.

The AE4RIA team also actively participated in Day 0’s Learning Lab, engaging with international peers in workshops on co-creation methods, urban innovation, artistic collaborations, and storytelling for sustainability transitions — gaining both inspiration and practical tools.

From high-level policy panels and academic research presentations to informal exchanges in the open-air Networking Village, OLLD25 provided a powerful platform for collaboration, reinforcing AE4RIA’s efforts across local and global innovation ecosystems.

Becoming an official ENoLL (European Network of Living Labs) member further strengthens AE4RIA’s position within the global Living Lab movement, opening new avenues for partnerships, shared knowledge, and expanded impact at both local and international levels.
