The project “Sustainable Future: Equipping Included Youth with Green Skills for the Circular Economy” – Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union- aims to train included youth with essential green skills to meet the demands of the circular economy and enhance their employability. The primary objective is to ensure that participants can adapt to the evolving job market, which is expected to generate significant opportunities in the green sector. This initiative addresses skills mismatches and empowers marginalized youth to respond effectively to labor market demands.
Objectives:
- Green Skills Training – Equip 80 included youth with the necessary skills for the circular economy.
- Green Skills Manual – Develop a manual to support continuous learning and long-term use.
- Online Learning Platform – Create a platform for accessible, self-paced learning.
- Job Positioning and Internships – Facilitate internships or job placements for 8 participants.
- Dissemination – Promote project results to engage stakeholders and ensure sustainability.
Duration: 18 months – Start date 1 Jan 2025 – End date 30 June 2026
